As the situation with the COVID – 19 pandemic continues to rapidly escalate in Australia and around the world, we want to make some changes on how our practice moves forward.
Our foremost concern continues to be preserving the health and well-being of our staff, patients and doctors during this time.
To best protect high risk patients from unnecessary potential exposure to COVID – 19 we have decided to restrict how many people enter our practice.
With this in mind we are asking that all carers or support people coming to Eyemedics with a patient are not to enter the building, rather wait outside or in their car(we will call you when the patient is ready to be collected) Of course, we understand that there are always some exceptions – a parent attending with an underage child, patients who require mobility or translation assistance and patients who suffer with memory loss.
Our key focus is to continue to help prevent the transmission of COVID – 19 in our workplace.
